An opinion in The Beijing News comments that the declaration of national mourning days accords with the sadness shared by everyone. It also restates the responsibility of a country towards their citizens. When many lost their family and homes, the state feels their pains. Another report in The Beijing News says that the Peruvian government also declares today as a national mourning day for Chinese earthquake victims.
