The Oriental Morning Post reports that 77 hours after the quake a rescue team found two teenagers, a 17-year-old boy and girl. Although they were in critical condition, the most seriously injured of the two asked the rescuers to first save the girl and the girl told them to save the young boy first. Four hours later, the young man was finally pulled from the rubble. He said, "Uncle, give me a coca-cola. A cold one?" The on-site rescuers burst into laughter because of his sense of humor.
